O presente trabalho tem por finalidade abordar as questões atinentes a Adoção Internacional, seus requisitos, procedimentos adotados pela legislação pátria. A adoção tem por objetivo proporcionar uma nova realidade de vida para crianças em estado de abandono e a inserção no seio de uma família, sendo certo que a adoção internacional se mostra um meio viável e rápido de propiciar às crianças abandonadas o direito ao convívio familiar. Por fim, serão analisados os impactos positivos da Convenção de Haia no âmbito nacional e internacional bem como as reviravoltas sofridas no ordenamento jurídico brasileiro referente à adoção.
