Advertising Policy

The Revista Jurídica do Nordeste Mineiro (RJNM) adopts a restricted and carefully regulated advertising policy designed to preserve scientific integrity, editorial impartiality, and the quality of the reader experience.

Decisions regarding the acceptance of advertisements are the sole responsibility of the editorial board and remain entirely independent from editorial decisions concerning manuscript evaluation and publication.

Types of Permitted Advertising

1. Institutional Communications

These include announcements related to RJNM’s own activities, such as:

  • Calls for Papers;

  • Publication of regular or special issues;

  • Academic events organized or supported by the journal;

  • Institutional updates relevant to the scientific and legal academic community.

2. Academically Relevant Advertising

Advertisements for products, services, or events of clear relevance to the academic community may be considered, including:

  • Scientific conferences, symposia, and seminars;

  • Academic book releases and scholarly publications;

  • Legal or scientific research software and analytical tools;

  • Research funding opportunities;

  • Academic training and development programs.

All third-party advertising is subject to prior evaluation to ensure scientific relevance, institutional appropriateness, and alignment with the journal’s legal scope.

Editorial Separation Principles

  • No advertisement shall interfere with article content or website navigation.

  • All advertisements will be clearly identified as promotional material.

  • A distinct visual separation between editorial content and advertising material will always be maintained.

RJNM does not accept advertisements that:

  • May mislead readers;

  • Lack verifiable scientific or technical basis;

  • Promote products or services without demonstrated academic relevance.

This policy ensures that any advertising displayed does not compromise the journal’s scientific credibility.
